LEVEL I / II COURSE

Training summary

Training and skills focused on responding appropriately to emergencies whose effects last weeks. This level includes, but is not limited to: water treatment, food storage, alternative fuels, first aid, psychological health, go bags, security, home defense and alternative modes of communication.

(minimum of 5 people to constitute a class)

Level II: Resources

Resources are comprised of categories including water, water filters, food, batteries, fuels, and other consumables

In Level II we will teach you how to prepare for an emergency with effects lasting weeks. You will learn about water storage and treatment, food storage, alternative methods for cooking, how to start a fire from tinder, and wood cutting.

Level II: Health

Health focused on basic first aid supplies, medicines, hygiene, and sanitation.

In Level II health we will teach you how to determine non-life threatening from life threatening medical emergencies, CPR, application of tourniquets, over the counter medicines, tips about personal prescriptions, and maintaining psychological health.

Level II: Security

Security involves introduction to hand held transceivers and marine radios, weapons, self-defense tactics, defensive strategies and tactics, home defense, close quarters defense.

This level includes, but is not limited to: basic marksmanship, limited shooting with simunitions (training rounds), instruction on hand held and amateur radios.
